A sensory Christmas #Christmas
At Christmas, we try to make things look nice and we like the sounds of Christmas too. Our senses are bombarded with stimuli that always makes Christmas a special time. From the aroma of freshly baked mince pies to the taste bud tingling of the Christmas fare, it all makes Christmas special.
Christmas is essentially a religious festival, but it has become a sensory sensation. Perhaps we can find a new Christmas message and that could be that we need a nicer world to live in, one that is pleasing to our senses rather than offending them. Can we make the world a nicer place? Can we see more daffodils in spring and less litter? It’s our world and we are the ones who can change that little patch that we live in.
It’s Christmas day, so I thought I would share photographs from the past. These are photos I have taken this year and some from previous years. Click on to bring up the carousel and then just click through them.
Merry Christmas to you all.
