Boxing Day: The Kids in Pictures
I think these kids were looking for conkers in Brunswick Park in August. I think that was a bit early for conkers. The park was a little bit quiet that day, but there were kids on the skateboard thing.
I photographed a few kids this year, most of them at the Frying Pan in Darlaston, but I was also at the Party in the Park in Darlo and Wednesbury Carnival too. Here are a few pictures:
Most kids these days are used to having their photo taken with either a camera or a smart phone and so quite relaxed about it. I think my Nikon takes a fairly good picture and so I hope you have enjoyed the ones today. Today’s kids in pictures post uses a carousel, I’ll be doing similar posts to this in the New Year.
I think I’ll be taking a few pictures over Christmas and New Year, but then what will we see? I think it could be frozen lakes and canals or maybe even snow. I have taken shots of the swans almost skating on the frozen lakes and snow pictures make for good Christmas cards. There will still be lots to point my camera at in the New Year too.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas and staying out of trouble! I used lots of pictures of summer yesterday, so if you didn’t see yourself on today’s pictures, check out those I used yesterday.
It’s a good idea to look back on the year that has just past, especially looking back at the good times. We can also look forward and make plans for the new year. I’ll be writing more and taking lots more pictures for this blog in the new year. I also help students with their studies and that will continue and I’ll play the stock market for a bit of fun and maybe to make a few quid too. What do you have planned for the New Year?
