Christmas thoughts #life

It’s Christmas Eve tomorrow and I still haven’t finished my Christmas shopping. Things aren’t going to plan, partly because my heating stopped working. I’m waiting in today for someone to fix it.

Things don’t always go to plan  in life, but we always seem to manage. Over Christmas, I’ll still be blogging and doing all the things I usually do. I’m hoping the weather will allow me to go out and take some winter photographs.  The sun is shining at the moment, but it’s very cold. This weather will suit me for landscape photography, but I’m expecting rain again this afternoon.

People have high expectations of Christmas and for many it will be a lonely Christmas. I can, at least, find a lot of pleasure in simple things and although I enjoy  a little company I can be happy being alone writing or editing photos. The time seems to go quickly when I have something really interesting to do.

These days we can communicate online too and I’m sure I’ll have lots of messages over Christmas from around the world. I suppose that is one of the perks of being a blogger and having a Facebook page for your blog as well as a personal one.

My blog over Christmas will feature lots of photos and so today I’ll end with a few photos from this year. If you would like to follow this blog, just enter your email address in the sidebar. You can also find more pictures on my Facebook page. For updates, you can also follow me on Twitter.
