Looking for the perfect shot #art #photography

I’m looking for the perfect shot now for my art project but what is the perfect shot? I’ll know it when I see it. I think it is an image that people can relate to and I have split the subject into three parts, people, places and things. I photographed some interesting places on Sunday and then tested out the best of the images on Facebook and Twitter to see if people did relate to them.

Central Sixth, West Bromwich

I began with the modernity of West Bromwich and the Central Sixth Building with also houses the Fab Lab and Arts Cafe. I find the West Bromwich modernity extremely confusing especially when I’m driving but I’m trying to get used to it. I shot this with a 35mm prime and it isn’t a perfect shot.

West Bromwich

This is another thoroughly modern West Bromwich image. Perfect shot? Nah, not really. I like the patterns but I really need a beautiful image that people will respond to when they see it.

The perfect shot?

Perfect shot?

This is an amazing image and it did get a positive response on social media. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was what I was looking for. If you don’t see art, then you’re not proper Black Country! This is beautiful!

Wednesbury - Woden Road South

Wednesbury – when the sun came out

Back in Wednesbury, I thought I might get some good shots around Hydes pool. The sun came out for a moment but it was only a moment and just long enough to get this shot. The ones of the pool were dull and lifeless.  You might like this shot better than my perfect shot or even like the modernity of West Bromwich. I want a series of perfect shots that will appeal to a lot of people so the quest will continue…
