Monday morning blues #life
It’s Monday morning and I’m not exactly enthusiastic this morning. I think Monday morning blues affects a lot of people. There is a negativity about Mondays. This morning it is cold and dreary and the stock market traders in the city of London are selling not buying. I’ll try to think positive.
If we look for positive things, we can usually find them. It’s cold and dreary, but I have a comfortable warm home. I have nothing to complain about. I have warm clothes and a heater in my car. Millions of people are worse off.
We make comparisons all the time. We compare the sad times with the happy times and when we feel a little blue, it seems worse if we remember the happier times. We can compare our situation with people less fortunate and then we realise how lucky we really are.
As this Monday continues, it will get better. After lunch, the positivity will begin. I think I’ll be doing some shopping and although I’m not in the mood to do very much, I can at least do the mundane things. I’ll allow life to tick over until I find some inspiration. Life is like that sometimes. We just have to wait for something to come along and inspire us. Even in winter, the grey skies give way to the sunshine quite often and then we can feel invigorated and find winter can be quite beautiful. Even the grey mist of winter has its own kind of mysterious beauty.
So enjoy Monday, this one will never come again! I’ll add some pictures for you to look at! If you would like to follow this blog, just enter your email address in the space at the top of the sidebar or you can follow me on Twitter.
