Soon be Christmas

PARK 016

The photo I’ve used today was taken last year. We haven’t had sunshine like that this year! The summer was constant rain and we haven’t had much sun for Autumn photography either. The colours are changing faster this year too. It’s only about 5 weeks before our winter starts and then Christmas!

Many people are going away for Christmas. City breaks in places like Paris are popular. It is a time when people like to be with their families and if that isn’t possible then a winter break might make sense.

Preparing for a frugal Christmas was yesterday’s blog, because many of us have to save money. People in the UK will struggle to send Christmas cards this year now that the price of stamps has gone up.

What would you do if you won a million? was Thursday’s post. I’m glad to say that many people would not be as selfish as I first thought.  I wouldn’t buy much but a million quid would mean more security.

Neodigital Art | Autumn colours and light was Tuesday’s popular art and photography blog. I’ll be using more guest photos for next week’s blog and so that should be interesting.

Because I’m worth it was Monday’s psychology blog. Are you worth what you’re paid? Are you worth less or more?

Summer time ends, winter drawers on was supposed to be my Sunday ramble. I wrote most of it the week before and it didn’t get published, so I edited it and clicked publish. It didn’t go to the top of the home page because it was drafted the week before. Never mind, you can check it out now.

I hope you liked this week’s blogs. You can read more on my WordPress blog. Please comment if you have view, news or questions.

I’m so glad I started shopping last month =)
got several good bargains on books at the dollar store, and food pantry gave me a gingerbread scented soap that will serve as one of Mother’s stocking stuffers.

    • Hi Alex,

I should have looked for presents when I was shopping. Just getting the things I wanted took ages though. I want to go back to Matalan, but the shop next door has a fire sale, so the car park will be full. That sale isn’t worth going to, they’re selling or re-boxed junk.

I’m glad you’re feeling better. I have hospital in 2 weeks. I think I need a blood test. I have an appointment with another specialist the week before Christmas so have two of them t try to figure out why I feel crappy! lol

        • Good luck with getting a part time job. It’s hard getting on a job here.

I think they’ll find out what’s going on with my health. I have lupus and so it’s probably something to do with my immune system. I went out in the cold today, several layers, scarf, new gloves. Then I got too warm in the car! I was warm walking through the woods taking photos though!
