Another year of blogging draws to a close and I write the last post. It was an interesting year as I developed a role as a community writer and photographer. More photographer than writer. Maybe people will need my writing skills more in 2017 and if I’m lucky my art might be appreciated more. As 2016 ends I am framing photos and people actually want to buy them!
The stock market will close at lunchtime today and for small investors, it will be the ending of trading for 2016. Did we have a good year? I saw my portfolio take a huge dive following the Brexit vote but as the market recovered my returns recovered too. So I’ll be ending 2016 reasonably happy with my investments.
It is Sunday morning again, how time flies! I shall let you into the darker, dustier pathways of my mind and share my thoughts with you. I can’t do anything right this morning, so I hope I can find something interesting to amuse you with. I photographed a charity event raising money for Sam’s Dream yesterday. It was dark and miserable again, but I got a few good photos inside the cafe. I have used a lot of photos of Sam so this time I’ll share a scary picture of his sister Lisa. She deserves a moment in the limelight in her Halloween make-up.
