It’s Sunday morning and so once again I allow you into the labyrinth of neural pathways that is my brain and share my thoughts with you. What’s on my mind this week? I’m still doing social media stuff and trying to share pictures of the community I live in that show it in a positive light. I could do dark industrial pictures of the Black Country but we now have nature reserves and we even have the Black Country forest! Times change and there is no point getting stuck in the past. Industry belongs to a bygone age, we are now producing different things and it can be more fun and be more creative. Anyway, I’m now into blue sky thinking.
Digital cameras will quite often produce bright colours. I prefer the shades in this picture. The edit makes it look like a stamp and so more interesting. This image is at 300 dpi and it was taken with my Nikon D3200. If you’re having a photo enlarged or entering it for a competition, they often have to be at 300 dpi.
This picture is my my cover picture on my Facebook Timeline. On the left of the picture is my profile photo, just underneath where the sun is in this picture. When you’re doing a photo like this, it’s important to get the text in the right place.
This is one of my favourite pictures and I think very artistic. I think it’s a good shot and I got the editing right. I would have liked the tree a little more to the left and the ducks aren’t quite where I would like either! This is the original photograph:
When I started this website I thought I had a zillion ideas and I wouldn’t run out of ideas to write about. The advice is often to stick to one genre, but I thought I can write about a few things and encourage other writers to write guest posts. So far I have one guest writer and three more thinking about it! Ideas are important, they are inspired and they grow and that leads to innovation, then innovation leads to prosperity. (more…)
I took lots of photos last Sunday for my Neodigital Art blogs. What do you think of this one? I converted it to monochrome, but with a slight blue tint. It’s the enchanted woodland of Merrion’s Wood. Neodigital Art is about being creative with your digital camera, scanner and maybe a graphics tablet. In fact any digital device you can lay your hands on. It is fast becoming a school of art. If you search for Neodigital Art using Google, you will I have been promoting it for a few years now. Want to join in? (more…)
