Neodigital Art is about creating art using digital cameras and scanners. I went out to take some photos of buildings on Sunday and this was one of the more interesting and historic ones. It not only led me to do some research into it’s history, but even had me researching my own family tree more.
Darlaston is a local town with quite a few Victorian buildings, so we wandered around there a couple of years ago taking a few photos. These pictures can be edited and the ‘modern’ things taken out to give the picture a real Victorian look.
This is an old railway track that has been turned into a little park. It was dark and cloudy and so I used a slow setting on my camera.
Neodigital Art is about using digital devices to create art. I used a camera and then edited with a computer to create this picture. I decided to change it to monochrome, this works well with man-made structures. This has a slight green tint to it. I used Smoothdraw 3 and the colorize option to do this. (more…)
