I seem to be photographing more entertainers recently. The latest one was Ray Quinn, who is a former X-Factor star. There are many entertainers, but they don’t all get the ‘big break’ that talent shows can offer. Many entertainers just plod on week after week entertaining in pubs and clubs around the country. Goals for 2015
I took this photo yesterday, it was freezing, that’s ice on the lake. You might have noticed I’ve added some EXIF info from the camera and my copyright notice to the picture. That’s one of my goals this year, to add copyright notices to pictures. (more…)
If you read my blog post at the weekend, you’ll know I did a photo shoot on Friday when the Christmas Lights were switched on by Gareth Gates. This first photo was fairly easy and I could take my time getting the camera setting right. I chose a fast setting of 1/30 of second and a high ISO (3200) and a wide aperture.
The crowds turned out in the cold last night to listen to Gareth Gates perform and then turn on Wednesbury’s Christmas Lights. Those are Festive Lights for the more politically correct or Holiday Lights if you’re from over the pond… (more…)
