I do a lot of online bargain hunting and shopping online is very popular. Even Poundland has a website that takes orders online. They have a 50p event on at the moment and in the stores, they are selling of Christmas goodies for just 25p!

Thrifty Thursday | thrifty ideas

The Aldi super-six this week are red onions (1kg), cherry plum tomatoes, (250g), Galia melon, Jersey Royal potatoes (450g), fun size apples (7) and green beans (220g). I got that wrong last week, they updated the website after I had written that post. You can always click the link to check though.

Thrifty Thursday Shopping

The Aldi super-six this week are chantenay carrots (500g), white cabbage, little gem lettuce (2), spring onions, lemons (3) and celery; the same as last week. They are all 49p each. There are lots of gardening bargains to be had in today’s special buys. I like the windowsill greenhouse for 1.99, great for starting off those seeds.

There are many different types of shopper, but all that comes later. Let’s try to understand the primary shoppers, who are male and female shoppers. It is tough to gauge responses from shoppers when they show confusing patterns of purchases. So as a female shopper, I thought, why not write what female shopper really wants, one female at a time. Some categories are not even identified, but they exist in our world of retail. The wanderer shopper is one who has no need to come to the store, but comes rather for the feel of a community. Thrifty | Comparing Prices

Aldi

I went to Aldi in search of bargains again this week. I usually go there first but went on the way home forgetting they closed early. You really need plenty of time to search for bargains and 10 minutes wasn’t enough. I still got chicken and eggs at a better price than the larger supermarkets.
