The weeks blogs review
The summer seems to have returned to England at long last. I took this photo the other night, with the sun shining through the trees. It seems a popular picture, perhaps because it excites the imagination. Maybe it’s the unusual angle. I took it from the top of the aqueduct. I get nervous of heights and of deep water so I wasn’t very comfortable. I also wrote a few blogs this week, that you might like to read. Just up the road from there, the river crosses the road under a bridge and then runs alongside the lake separating it from the playing fields and the canal. There’s a 700 year old Manor House down the road in Hall Green Road. You can just see a bit of the 18th century aqueduct in the picture.
There were some interesting blogs this week:
Hidden ways you can lose money
Hidden ways you can lose money was about hidden charges and taxes like the extra they put on top of the price for ‘interest free’ credit. We all need to save a few quid these days.
Cutting motoring cost by planning journeys
Cutting motoring costs by planning journeys was a good one. You can save up to 10% off your fuel costs by just planning journeys and careful driving. That is like 14p a litre of petrol or even more.
Natures secrets was about how scientists and technologists unlock the secrets of nature to bring us new inventions and technology. If you would like to understand a little more about science and technology, that article might help.
Neodigital Art | Creativity
On Tuesday as usual, I did the ever popular Neodigital Art blog about art and photography. Those photos were good and from earlier in the year. The light hasn’t been very good with all the rain, but I still got a few decent pictures.
Natures way was about how nature solves problems and evolves. It seems to do things gradually, unless the problem demands more extreme measures. We do have violent storms, but generally speaking nature changes life so that it adapts to the changing environment.
The unpredictable shopper
The unpredictable shopper was another interesting post by Fairy Dharawat and was about the modern shopper and how they decide what to buy. It was about how to give customers what they want and entertain them too.
I had a few more readers at the beginning of the week, but still need lots more and so please share with your friends on Facebook. If you click ‘like’ and share that will help too. I hope to have more guest writers soon and if you have an idea why not have a go at writing it down and sending it to me. You don’t have to be a writer. If you just have a great idea, that’s enough. Think about the subjects that you’re knowledgeable about. You can also join my Neodigital Art movement by creating art with your digital camera or scanner. Send your images to me or even do a complete blog. I will edit copy and will edit photos too, if they need it.
If you have a ticket for tonight’s lottery. Good luck! Enjoy the rest of the summer, we won’t get another until next year! You can also check out the home page, subscribe by putting your email in the box in the sidebar or if you want to be nice to me, share with your friends. I always need more readers and so the more people who share using social media, the more publicity I get.
